DeleteI've always refused to join it. This does create problems - I get very angry when a protest, a lecture or a cultural event is announced only on Facebook, without even the public viewability turned on. LinkedIn and some other sites are better for job searches anyway.

Good on you, lagatta - this is my third time quitting but it is the final one. I basically rejoined because of all the things you mentioned but nothing will make me go back now their true attitude towards women has been revealed...and you're right there are other sites for all the things that facebook has pretended they have the only expertise for.
